LocalTide is operated by LocalTide LLC, a Missouri limited liability company ("LocalTide," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of LocalTide (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.
You need an account to use most of LocalTide. You can create one with an email and password, or through a supported third-party sign-in (Google, Facebook, Microsoft, or X). You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your credentials — including any device PIN or passkey you set up — secure. Tell us right away if you suspect unauthorized access.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this requirement.
LocalTide builds an AI-generated brand profile from a website URL you provide, and offers related tools (feature requests, support, and — where enabled — paid plans) on top of it. Content LocalTide generates, including brand profiles and any AI-assisted suggestions, is produced by an AI model and may be incomplete, inaccurate, or need editing before you rely on it. You're responsible for reviewing and correcting anything LocalTide generates before you use it.
You retain ownership of the business information, URLs, and other content you submit to LocalTide ("Your Content"). You grant us a license to use Your Content to operate, maintain, and improve the Service — including sending relevant portions of it to third-party AI providers as described in our Privacy Policy. You're responsible for making sure you have the rights to submit Your Content, and that it doesn't violate anyone else's rights or the law.
Feature requests and their descriptions may be visible to other users of the Service, including anonymous visitors.
Some features may require a paid subscription. If you subscribe, you agree to pay the fees in effect at the time, plus applicable taxes, and you authorize us (via our payment processor) to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law or as we otherwise state at the time of purchase. We may change pricing going forward; we'll give you reasonable notice before a price change affects your existing subscription.
Don't use LocalTide to: violate any law; infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights; submit malicious code or attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorized access to the Service; abuse the feature-request or support systems (spam, harassment, impersonation); or resell or provide the Service to third parties without our permission.
You can stop using LocalTide and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, or with notice for any other reason, including discontinuing the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, governing law) will survive.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT AI-GENERATED CONTENT WILL BE ACCURATE, COMPLETE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR PURPOSES.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LOCALTIDE LLC WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE (OR $100 IF YOU HAVEN'T PAID US ANYTHING).
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you through the Service. Continuing to use LocalTide after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Missouri, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Missouri, and you consent to that jurisdiction.
