Data Deletion

Last updated: September 2, 2026

You can request deletion of your LocalTide account and the data associated with it at any time, including data collected through a connected Facebook or Instagram account (Page/account identifiers, connection tokens, and any posts LocalTide generated or published on your behalf).

How to request deletion

Use the Help button in the footer of any LocalTide page and ask for your account to be deleted, or email us with the same request. Include the email address your LocalTide account is registered under so we can locate it.

What happens next

We verify the request comes from the account owner, then delete or anonymize your personal data — including any Facebook/Instagram connection tokens and identifiers — within a reasonable period. Some records may be retained longer where we're required to for legal, tax, or security reasons (for example, payment records), consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Disconnecting Facebook or Instagram without deleting your account

If you only want to remove the Facebook/Instagram connection itself — not your whole LocalTide account — you can do that directly from LocalTide's Social page, or by removing LocalTide's access from your own Facebook account's Settings → Apps and Websites. Either way, LocalTide's stored access token for that connection is deleted.

Questions about any of this? Reach us through the Help button, or see the full Privacy Policy.
